Sometimes, some of our users may not receive our mailings or may find that
they have been incorrectly placed into their "Junk E-mail" or "Spam" mail
folders. To ensure that you receive the mailings you have signed up for, follow
the instructions for your internet provider, webmail provider or email program listed below.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
If, after following the directions below, you still have difficulty receiving
our mailings, you may wish to contact your mail administrator or technical
support department. We have information specifically for them that will allow
them to assist you (See Technical Details at the bottom).
PLEASE NOTE: For all instructions below, our sending email address is
The best way to ensure that you receive email from us is to add us to your
Address Book within AOL.
Launch the AOL software and login as usual.
Enter keyword address book and click the Go button.
On the Address Book window, click the Add icon.
On the Add window, enter Capital Roundtable for the name and enter in the Screen Name field.
Click the Save button.
You may now close the Address Book and Mail Center windows.
Some AOL users may have AOL set to only receive mail from known senders.
If you have AOL set this way, please do the following:
Launch the AOL software and login as usual.
Enter keyword mail controls and click the Go button.
On the Mail Center window, click the "Be In Control" or "Mail Controls"
link.
In the Mail and Spam Controls window, you should see "Use a Custom
Sender List" selected. If it is not selected, then you are not using a
Custom Sender List and may close the window.
Click the "Custom Sender List" link.
If "Block all senders..." is selected, you are done. If "Allow
only the senders and domains listed below" is selected, enter
capitalroundtablemail.com in the box and click the Add button.
You may now close the Custom Sender List, Mail and Spam Controls
windows.
AOL 8
Launch the AOL software and login as usual.
Enter keyword mail controls and click the Go button.
Select the screen name that will be receiving our mailings.
Click "Customize Mail Controls" for this screen name.
If you have selected "Allow mail from AOL Members and addresses listed",
continue. If not, you are done.
Enter capitalroundtablemail.com
Click the Add button.
Click the Ok button.
AOL 7
Launch the AOL software and login as usual.
Enter keyword mail controls and click the Go button.
Select the screen name that will be receiving our mailings.
Click "Customize Mail Controls" for this screen name.
In the "Exclusion and Inclusion parameters" section, enter
capitalroundtablemail.com
Click the Add button.
Click the Ok button.
Earthlink
The best way to ensure you receive our mailings on Earthlink is to add our
email address to your online Address Book:
Select the "Address Book" link from the list of links on the left.
Next to the Add button, select "Contact" from the dropdown and then
click Add.
For First Name, enter Capital Roundtable.
For Email, enter
Click the Save button.
Hotmail
In Hotmail, the best way to ensure that you receive our mailings is to add us
to your Junk E-mail Protection Safe List:
Head to hotmail.com and login as usual.
Click the "Options" link in the upper-right.
Select "Mail" from the left-hand options (not the main toolbar tabs that
go across the top)
Click the "Junk E-mail Protection" link.
Click the "Safe List" link.
Enter capitalroundtablemail.com and click the Add button.
Yahoo
Yahoo uses a combination of Junk Mail folders and mail filters to handle mail
coming into your inbox. If you are not receiving our mailings, try first
checking your Junk Mail folder:
Head to Yahoo Mail and login as usual.
In the folders list on the left, click your Bulk or Junk Mail folder.
In the list of messages, look for a message from Capital Roundtable.
Click the "This is Not Spam" button in either the listing of messages or
after clicking into the message itself.
Mozilla Thunderbird
With Mozilla Thunderbird, the best way to ensure you receive our mailings is
to add us to your Address Book:
Launch Thunderbird as you normally would.
Click the "Address Book" icon on the main toolbar.
In the Address Book window, click the "New Card" icon on the toolbar.
Enter Capital Roundtable for the First Name and for the
Email and click Ok.
You can now close the Address Book window.
Mozilla Suite's Email Client
With Mozilla Suite's Email Client, the best way to ensure you receive our
mailings is to add us to your Address Book:
Launch Mozilla as you normally would.
Click Window and then "Address Book" on the main menu.
In the Address Book window, click the "New Card" icon on the toolbar.
Enter Capital Roundtable for the First Name and for the
Email and click Ok.
You can now close the Address Book window.
Netscape 4 and 6
Netscape version 4 and 6 do not contain any built-in Junk Mail filtering
controls. If you are having issues receiving mail from us, you should check with
your email provider to see if any filtering is going on before the mail reaches
you.
Netscape 7
With Netscape's Email Client, the best way to ensure you receive our mailings
is to add us to your Address Book:
Launch Netscape as you normally would.
Click Window and then "Address Book" on the main menu.
In the Address Book window, click the "New Card" icon on the toolbar.
Enter Capital Roundtable for the First Name and for the
Email and click Ok.
You can now close the Address Book window.
Outlook Express
Outlook Express does not contain any built-in Junk Mail filtering controls.
If you are having issues receiving mail from us, you should check with your
email provider to see if any filtering is going on before the mail reaches you.
Outlook 2000 and XP
Outlook 2000 and XP do not contain any built-in Junk Mail filtering controls.
If you are connecting to an Exchange server, it may have email filtering
software installed on it. If you are having issues receiving mail from us,
you should check with your email provider to see if any filtering is going on
before the mail reaches you.
Outlook 2003
The best way to ensure you receive our mailings in Outlook 2003 is to add us
as a Contact:
Launch Outlook 2003 as your normally would.
Click "Go" and then "Contacts" from the main menu.
Click the "New" button on the toolbar.
For Full Name enter Capital Roundtable and for Email enter
Click the "Save and Close" button on the toolbar.
Note: If you connect to an Exchange mail server, there may be additional
filtering occuring on the server itself. If you are still having issues
receiving mail from us, you should contact your mail administrator.
